Kacey Musgraves Wins Album of the Year at 2019 Grammy Awards
Kacey Musgraves brought home the 2019 Grammy Award for Album of the Year Sunday night (Feb. 10).
In her acknowledgment discourse, Musgraves expressed gratitude toward her group, family and fans for the success and stated, “It was mind blowing to try and be in a classification with such monstrous collections, such extremely splendid gems. It’s extremely insane yet I’m extremely appreciative. Winning this doesn’t improve my collection any than any others in that class.”
“Life is quite wild for us all at this moment,” she noted. “I would have nothing without tunes. It’s about the melodies.”
Musgraves’ collection Golden Hour was discharged on March 30, 2018, and highlights tracks like “Butterflies” and “Space Cowboy.”
This evening’s Album of the Year win denotes Musgraves’ 6th Grammy win and her ninth assignment.
